1. Led Zeppelin- IV: A change of pace, for a straight up rock band. They experimented with some different stuff, like The Battle of Evermore. All the best of Zeppelin albums are half full of songs from this album. Best Song- Stairway to Heaven
2. The Beatles- Revolver: An album that pushed the barriers of music, and did things that people never heard before, and nobody else was doing at the time. You should expect from no one other than the Beatles. Best Song- Taxman
3. The Foo Fighters- There is Nothing Left to Lose: Another change of pace album, that saw a band that spurred from grunge push in new directions. From beginning to end this album is enjoyable. Best Song- Learn to Fly
4. Dave Matthews Band- Crash: In the 90`s there was little in the way of breakthrough music. If that is what you are looking for then Dave Matthews is your band, and Crash is your album. The ultimate in jam band music. Best Song- Crash
5. Pink Floyd- Wish You Were Here: Possibly the most solid album made, because it only has five songs, and all of them are extremely good. Best Song- Wish You Were Here
6. Oasis- Definitely Maybe: The first album from "the next Beatles" is truly awesome. Everything is so simply put together, yet is so insanely catchy. This album comes from a band who`s forte is obviously in live music. Best Song- Live Forever
7. The Who- Who`s Next?: An album where almost every song is recognizable, this could just as easily be a best of album. It seems like Brit bands are a recurring thing on this list. Best Song- Won`t Get Fooled Again
8. Radiohead- The Bends: Before the band turned a little eccentric, they came out with this rock album. It isn`t very different from anything else, but it is awesome to listen to. If anyone is a fan of Brit rock, then they will be a fan of this album. Best Song- Fake Plastic Trees
9. Jimi Hendrix- Are You Experienced?: The first in psychadelic rock, he makes everyone wish they played the guitar. Another album with many recognizable songs. Best Song- Hey Joe
10. The Soundtrack of Our Lives- Behind the Music: Yes anyone who just read that titled probably said whaaaaa?! They are Swedish band who copies better than the Japanese. Their influences span everyone from Pink Floyd to REM. A perfect band to cap off the list. Best Song- Independent Luxury
