August 23rd

Today we went to Greenland, an amusement park, which is a mix of a very good amusement park, and a very bad one. The thrill rides are great, but the shows aren`t so good, everything else was decent. There were about 3 or 4 roller coasters, all of them good. Especilly Nio, which is an inverted, looping, corkscrew coaster. the best part about this park is there are no lines. We spent the vast majority of the day at the park, then at night I went to Matsuri (festival), which is a lot of fun. They have all kinds of food, and a stage set up for shows. The shows were mostly done by kids my age, and they did a lot of cool dancing and stuff. I met Nick, the other American in my town, who I am trying to start a band with. The Matsuri went very late, so I went home and fell asleep.
